PREETI & BHAVIN

Two of our wonderful SBC vendors were chosen to capture the fabulous Indian wedding of Preeti & Bhavin downtown at the Hyatt.  Todd Nichols with Todd Nichols Photography and ICVideo captured all of the excitement, celebration, and traditions of this unforgettable wedding. 

The couple chose to wed in our great city to be close to the bride's family, even though Bhavin was from Detroit.  The festivites began early outside of the Hyatt on Fourth Street with the families meeting to dance in the streets in celebration (the couple actually got permits to shut down the street).  The ceremony shortly followed and was an experience unlike any other.  One point of interest was the ice cream that was served to the guest during the break.  It was such an incredible gathering of people to celebrate this wonderful joining of Bhavin and Preeti.

During the break between the ceremony and reception, the room was transformed from the incredible ceremony to a 400+ seated reception with dancing by the bride and groom to sparklers.  The DJ, who was brought in from New York, was incredible.  The Indian music was so intense and the choreographed dancing (all of them) was so amazing.  The food at the reception was authentic Indian and the many guest were seen returning for multiple servings.
