SBC: What are the most requested photo props?
Peter: Undoubtably, our custom, wood-carved, locally made mustaches on a stick... can't go wrong!
SBC: What is the most number of people who have squeezed into a photo booth at one time?
Peter: With a little organization and a couple of smooshed faces, we have gotten up to 19 people in the booth at one time with everyone's face showing in the photo. Keep in mind thouh that we are constantly trying to break into the 20's
SBC: Magnolia Photo Booth is not just local, which other cities do you operate in?
Peter: After opening in Louisville Kentucky three and a half years ago, we have diligently been working towards world domination and have taken residence in San Francisco, Chicago, Austin, Los Angeles, and New York. Luckily for us though, we are able to accommodate events anywhere a car can travel- and we are happy to do so!
SBC: A photo booth can actually add to the décor at receptions, what sets your booth apart from other competitors?
Peter: While many photo booth companies simply see the wedding industry as a place to make money and figure any poorly made booth will do, we see our booths as a blank canvas for artistic design and creativity that could hold its ground against any Picasso. With our sleek and modern design we are confidant that our booth and our award winning graphic design will add a eye-popping and heart warming element to any wedding.
SBC: Photo booths are easy to operate, but is there a person manning the booth to assist guests?
Peter: Included in each of our rentals is the assistance of one of our All-Star attendants. Although the booth runs completely by its self- we always have some one on site to ensure everything is running smoothly and making sure all of the guests are having a great time. And if nothing else- we are there to shake hands with or hug the bride and groom in person and thank them for having us be a part of a day that will change their lives forever.
SBC: Can guest order additional prints?
Peter: We know that many of our photos are some of the most cherished pictures some people or groups have taken together- and thus we would never limit their access to that photo. After each event we web-host all of the funny, hysterical and maybe not so flattering photos from the event in which the guests are able to download and reprint the photos for free and at their disposal.
SBC: Do you offer keepsake albums with all of the photos from the reception for the bride and groom?
Peter: After each wedding we quickly go to work on creating a coffee table book for the bride and groom that includes all of the photos for the evening. The coffee table book is a hard-cover bound book that will stand the test of time.
Will the bride and groom be able to leave the reception with all of their guest’s photos?
Aside from the web-hosting, the coffee table book and the disk we provide them of all of the photos, we can also print double prints during the reception so the bride and groom can keep a copy. This is a great idea to incorporate into the guest book.
SBC: Can you describe one of your most memorable weddings?
Peter: Although every wedding we attend has so many memorable moments, one of my favorites was a "surprise" wedding held on New Year's Eve. A couple well known for their extravagant party throwing invited their closest friends and family to a New Year's Eve Party at Dog Patch Studios here in San Francisco. As the party grow in size and the laughter and chattering filled the room- suddenly, around 11:30 everyone fell silent as the wedding march played loudly overhead and the Bride appeared in a spotlight and stunning white dress (different than what she had been wearing previously). While this was enough to stop the room and stick in my memory forever, the part that made it truly unforgettable was the witty and adorable ceremony the grooms brother gave while the couple laughed, cried and high-fived over vows and "I do's". The ceremony ceased just in time for the countdown and the balloon drop. It was amazing!

Drop by Peter's studio conveniently located downtown and see for yourself how perfect a Magbooth would be for your wedding.
